Glatz Sombrano S+ Side Parasol, 400x300 cm, Rotatable and Tiltable, Rectangular
The SOMBRANO® S+ side parasol by the Swiss brand Glatz is a massive side parasol with a sturdy construction. It is suitable for shading larger areas.
The SOMBRANO® S+ can be tilted horizontally to both sides using a lever, up to an angle of 54°, and is fully rotatable by 360°.
Thanks to its technologically advanced construction, operation of the parasol is very easy and can be handled even by less skilled users. Automatically tightening clips on the rib ends ensure flawless tension of the canopy throughout the parasol's and canopy's lifetime. The high-quality anodized or lacquered surface finish gives it a luxurious appearance. It is suitable for private use. We provide warranty and post-warranty service and spare parts for Glatz parasols.

- Option no.2 - SOMBRANO® S+ - 100% polyester 250 g/m2 (quality class 4), colors according to the color chart, protection level UPF 50+
- Option no.3 - SOMBRANO® S+ - 100% acrylic 300 g/m2 (quality class 5), colors according to the color chart, protection level UPF 50+
- The current Glatz color chart is available in our showroom or we can send it on request in PDF format by email

1. Anodized aluminium: Only for Sombrano S+ parasols – parasols with custom (high-quality) canopies:
- 100% polyester 250 g/m2 (quality class 4), protection level UPF 50+,
- 100% acrylic 300 g/m2 (quality class 5), protection level UPF 50+,
2. Grey-black color (anthracite) – powder-coated aluminium:
In combination with all types of canopies - Opening and closing the parasol with a crank
- Tilt the canopy to either side up to 54° using the lever (position increments are 18°)
- Can be rotated around the axis (up to 360°) by releasing the foot brake at the pole base
Suitable accessories and extras:
- Base: min. load 150 kg (not included with the parasol)
- The parasol can be anchored to the ground – a suitable anchor must be purchased (not included with the parasol)
- Protective cover: included in the packaging and price of the parasol
- Lighting (not included with the parasol)
Other dimensions:
- Total height (from the bottom edge of the pole to the highest point of the parasol, closed parasol): 300 cm
- Height from the bottom edge of the pole to the lower edge of the canopy (when open): 210 cm
